The YWCA of Palestine Concludes Part One of the Empowerment Training for Women’s Organizations within “Manarat” Project
The YWCA of Palestine, through "Manarat" project, concluded the first part of the CBOs training that targeted the board members and executive directors of partner women's organizations. The training revolved around the concepts of general management, organizational structure, teamwork, and communication skills as well as time management. It also touched on the concept of networking and the basics of community projects design and fundraising. "Manarat" aims at building the capacity of eight women’s community-based organizations and empowering 160 young women to compete in the labor market and to have access to income generating opportunities so they can live a decent life.
45 women took part in the training, conducted by a specialized trainer from our partner organization New Generation. The training included a number of interactive activities that focused on the concepts mentioned earlier.
