The YWCA of Palestine completed an 80-hour series of trainings as part of "Wujood" Project
The YWCA of Palestine completed an 80-hour series of trainings on international law, human rights agreements, women, and guarantee for women's right under the Security Council Resolutions 1325 "Women, Peace, and Security" and 2250 "Youth, Security, and Peace" as part of "Wujood" Project. The trainings started with preparing trainers in international resolutions through practical trainings on the Manual for Security Council resolutions 2250 and 1325 in the first phase. The second phase involved planning meetings with youth and community partners, as well as coordinating and running campaigns inside the events where the projects were being held in different areas.
The series of trainings enabled the development of community-based initiatives based on the international agreements, Also the association's staff began collaborating with groups to put the findings of community projects into action for the benefit of local adolescents and women.
