"Youth Forums" is a project implemented in the governorates of Tulkarm, Jenin, Bethlehem, Jericho and the Jordan Valley in cooperation with Y Global Norway and in partnership with community-based organizations and Palestinian universities. The project aims to provide safe spaces for youth to express themselves and to promote their roles as agents of change in their communities through capacity-building. It also strives to increase the participation of young people in decision-making by giving them the opportunity to take part in local, national and international forums. The project targets youth aged 16 – 30.
The project activities include:
- Virtual training workshops around advocacy, gender equality, human rights, and UNSCRs 1325 and 2250
- Providing safe spaces for youth through organizing meetings and discussions
- Organizing national youth-led campaigns
- Opportunities for youth to take part in local, national and international forums in person and virtually
